Accountant

Corporate Administrator

Michael Chambers & Co. LLC, a prestigious law firm based in Limassol, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Corporate Administrator.

This role is integral to our corporate services department, ensuring the effective administration of client companies and maintaining compliance with local regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will contribute to our reputation for providing high-quality, client-focused legal and corporate services.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the day-to-day administration of companies, including incorporations, annual filings, and changes to corporate structures.
  • Prepare and file necessary documents with the Registrar of Companies.
  • Maintain and update corporate records and statutory files.
  • Communicate with clients, government authorities, and service providers.
  • Ensure timely submission of annual returns, HE forms, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist in drafting board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate documents.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the corporate department.
  • Act as a receptionist when needed, including answering and directing incoming calls and greeting clients or visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with corporate administration software.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, especially within a legal or fiduciary firm, is highly desirable.

This role is pivotal to our operations, ensuring efficiency and smooth administrative functioning. We are dedicated to providing top-quality legal services, and the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to our legal team.
  • Manage and organize documents, including filing, copying, and scanning legal documents.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, redirecting as appropriate.
  • Maintain a highly organized, efficient, and effective office environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of legal documents and case files.
  • Manage the diary of the legal team, ensuring all commitments are met.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the legal team.

Associate Lawyer

Michael Chambers & Co LLC is currently seeking to recruit an Associate Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years of work experience to expand its Legal Department. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, hardworking, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Law from an accredited University.
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing Advocate.
  • Experience at drafting pleadings, including legal opinions and legal instruments such as commercial and Sale Purchase Agreements.
  • Experience at presenting cases and representing clients at the District Court.
  • Experience in client service, providing legal advice and dealing with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Fluency in English and Greek is a requirement, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple task and cases and comply with strict deadlines.
